Job Description :
JOB DESCRIPTION
- The Fleet Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for sourcing /purchasing all tools, operating supplies and services, repair supplies, future equipment needs and the vehicle maintenance program
- Manage various service suppliers’ agreements
- Monitor and maintain inventory of MRO supplies utilizing ERP/MRP and Visual systems
- Monitor and track vehicle fleet equipment utilizing Fleet Maintenance Prov12 Software
- Purchase materials, equipment, supplies, and services in accordance with approved purchasing regulations and procedures.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and timely procurement of MRO (maintenance, repair, and operations) consumables and supplies
- Review/Replenish various stocking locations. Develop and maintain min max inventories
- Maintain up to date MRO purchasing files
- Process, schedule and maintain all fleet vehicle and heavy equipment services/repairs and maintain documentation
- Schedule and process orders for Building Maintenance, Service Suppliers
- Coordinate, control, and follow-up all goods returned for credit, repair, or replacement
- Reconcile variances between purchase orders and invoices
- Perform cycle counts as required with applicable follow up and problem-solving for MRO components
- Work with teams, participation in meetings to support business initiatives, etc
- Understands, utilizes, and submits suggestions for improvement to management
- Request and ensure receipt of SDS for all purchase products
- Review service contracts, rental, and maintenance agreements, renegotiate, award and/or renew as required
- Maintain up to date service contracts and records
- Reviews and analyzes purchase requisitions, investigates, and develops sources of supplies
- Coordinates purchasing activities with manufacturing, installation, and maintenance departments to maintain inventory
- Works closely with leadership team to maximize schedule fulfillment
- Monitor status of open purchase order reports ensuring on-time delivery of all materials
- Notify Team Leads and Department Supervisors relative to availability of materials, delays, changing orders and handling problems in order to meet production plan
- Expedites operations that delay schedules and alters schedule to meet unforeseen conditions
- Recalculates and reviews MRO inventory, as needed, changes in lead time, minimum order quantities, standard packs, and safety stock levels.
- Assists and/or performs in any and all areas as assigned by management
- Establish and maintain a high level of communication and effective working relationships with suppliers and peers
- Follow Company defines procedures regarding safety rules and regulations
SCHEDULE & PAY
- Monday - Friday
- Rotation of Saturdays
- $18 - $21 per hour depending on experience
Required Qualifications :
REQUIREMENTS
- High school diploma
- College degree or equivalent work experience of 3 years +
- MRP system experience a plus
- Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Conducts themselves professionally
- Service Advisor experience a big plus
